I do use swiftkey and I am getting used to it. One thing that bothers me is when you type in eg "R12.00" it really wants to put a space after the ".". How to get get around this?

You just type R12.

Where do they show the results of the test speeds of the ROMs?

They don't - I'm basing it on user feedback.
+1 on SwiftKey - I use it myself. Space after a period is adjustable in settings.

For the record, I am now running the Jelly King ROM (1.6.2 CM10) as my daily. RRemix was awesome, but not as stable as I'd like. This one comes with a slew of extra apps, which is always good, and in this case are useful. Bits and pieces like Beats Audio, Walkman, Phono, SolidExplorer and others plus the stability of CM10 (There is also an AOKP-based version available) make this a really nice ROM to use.

I'm now going to test ReVolt, which has the honour of being 2nd fastest (second to CM10 vanilla) according to forum reports.

I am on rr 3.0.6 but want to try revolt or aokp unofficial. How do you like revolt so far?

Mine works fine? If i enter "R12.00" character after character exactly as it is, it gives me the right output.

Funny - I don't see any settings to change that. Did I miss something?

It's not supposed to add a space when you place a point after numbers. Mine is on Rapid typing style, and Spacebar will...always insert a prediction.

Okay - I tested it again and found it is working as you guys say ... I don't know when/how it was fixed, but for now I will blame it on me being non compos mentis ...

Are any of you using a custom DPI? I am trying to change my DPI to 219 (or less), using LCD Density Modder, but for some reason every time I do so I end up having to reflash the ROM. It doesn't matter which ROM either. Even RR wasn't able to make it work. I have done this before, successfully, so I know the procedure - just can't get it to work. I get a blank screen every time I change it.

Any ideas?

Never mind. I edited build.prop directly - worked perfectly. 200DPI makes it look like an SGS3.

I have been running aokp unofficial for 2 days now and I am very happy, its a lot like RR but with added settings for dpi and tablet UI. Its also very stable with dori 5.79 beta2.


But I was hoping that I could add buttons to the lockscreen. So I am looking into Slimbean v2.4, as it seems to have it. Has anybody tried it yet?

Or maybe I should try vanilla cm10 first.... Too many options....

It can be used on CM10. I remember codeworx adding support for this a while back. Also on the play store it says version 4.0 + I personally have not used it on CM10 yet though. But users on XDA have reported it working on the S2.
