It can be used on CM10. I remember codeworx adding support for this a while back. Also on the play store it says version 4.0 + I personally have not used it on CM10 yet though. But users on XDA have reported it working on the S2.

On 5.77 I got 5h5min and 1d2h when it was 1%. Took these screen shots @ 50%.

I decided to try out 5.8, with CM10. I hate holding my phone in my hand and watching the battery drop. I am on 46% 19h battery time and :( 1 hour on screen time. SAAAAAAAD, makes me want to go back to MIUI

Personally, I wasn't too happy with Dorimanx either. It was unstable. Maybe I was doing something wrong, I didn't try to mess around with the settings too much...
 
Just want to say thank you again for the SwiftKey keyboard recommendation, I can now speed type with one hand. :)

Most probably the best money I've ever spent on the Google Play store.

Got an improvement. First run on Siyah and CM10.

Got 3h47min screen time in 1 day on the dot. Awesome.
 
Yeah Dorimanx acknowledged battery drain on 5.79 and 5.80 and has started to build a new kernel from scratch based on 5.78 which was stable.
 
I cant get bln to work with dorminax so i just went back to siyah...
 
I'm so happy with battery time on CM10 nightlies... over a day with wifi always on and a fair amount of usage. And I think my battery has taken a beating over the year and 2 months of intense usage...
 
Damn I cant wait for official JB, project butter is my main reason for wanting to upgrade.
Even if just the Hardware composer drivers gets leaked for the AOKP / AOSP guys then I'll be happy.

I see the SGSIII update is out (for Poland, anyway). Should only be a matter of time for the SGSII.
 
Am I correct in saying AOKP build 3 has integrated some Vsync patch (project butter?)

Afaik true "project butter" needs the HW drivers that actually "hooks" into the hardware for super smoothness, which can only come from and official/leaked JB build from Samsung.

Correct we need a leak to fix the hwcomposer.
 
Hmm, seems like HW composer and the memory leak issue has been fixed if i read right? :/ (with the latest RR ROM
Ill install in the morning and report.

PS: man it's getting anoying, having to resore apps using titanium everytime a new ROM arrives...:confused:

make a nandroid ..then flash your rom then goto recovery ...then use then use the advanced restore option to restore the data...that should restore your apps

It will not be fixed until there is a leak from Samsung. Westcrip mentions only that its improved.
