I tried this yesterday, but had data issues and some non responsive buttons. Really nice otherwise, but for now I have restored back to 10.1.3.

Strange, I'm using it as my daily. Not recommended but I've had no issues so far and battery life is better than 10.2.

Damn. I reverted back to CM 10.2 nightlies and just can't get the damn GPS working despite trying every fix I could find :(. I was having data problems in Ingress on 10.1.3 ("scan failed" messages) so figured it might be a ROM issue hence the revert. Oh well. Off to try another ROM.

Actually - has anyone had Ingress installed, changed ROM and then re-installed Ingress and continued to use it with the same Ingress account/username?

^^^ :).

Hopefully the last post on the matter: Flashed CM 10.2 nightlies but that previous gps update (that worked on 10.1.3) wouldn't work. Eventually got it working with this app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=by.zatta.agps
Which replaces the config file in system/etc with it's own file. My data connection is also working in Ingress now so I'm happy for the time being :).

Several times. I reverted back for the same reason, but my joy is at 10.1.3. Go figure.

That is excellent Tariq786. I doubt I will be able to get results anywhere close to that, since I spend quite a lot of time on calls. But what rom rernel are you using?

ROM: Alliance ROM V7 XWLSD (been running this for months already). Here is the XDA thread with latest version - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2037363

Kernel: Jeboo Kernel V2.1 (again running for months). Here is the XDA thread with latest version - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2062208

Radio: XXLS8

Location: Cape Town

Network: Vodascum

Battery: 2000mAH official extended battery

Rooted. Greenified. Autorun Tweaked. Bloatware frozen. Only essential apps setup to sync.

Must say Greenify is the app that has the biggest effect on increasing my battery life.

EDIT: I suppose if I turn brightness down I would get much longer life but I like running at 100% to see my screen in all its glory :D.
