Well that was your problemNo, only DomKAT and it wasn't running lekker on my S2.![]()
Yeah it is currently on my S2. Had to make some tweaks to app-permissions to prevent it from keeping the phone awake (pretty cool that you can set that, amongst other things) and so far so good! Battery life about the same on standby as the stock 4.1.2 but screen-on time seems to slurp it; i think it is because I use the circle-percentage battery indicator as opposed to the standard icon so drainage visibility is more indicative.nope, you have experience with it?
So I found a way to making typing on my phone less painful...
I enter the cpu clock settings and set the phone to performance mode. I can type much much faster now it's actually amazing lol

Battery will probably take a hit though.

Its the normal clock speed....why would the battery take a hit?
Yip, as you can see, choose a rom, any rom, but the stock rom and your life will be fulfilled with all the goodies![]()
@DWPTA Where can we find the vanilla/stock KITKAT rom for the S2?

Went with this suggestion last night and Im happy with the results. Not over-joyed, but I can live with the lag I guess. That said, its definitely a lot less than what it was...
Very smooth otherwise though
What are you running now vs what you were running & how is your battery life?
I've upgraded to 4.1.2 and my phone is now much slower and the battery lasts half a day. Even when not in use, the battery drains after I replaced it with a new one.
I had to upgade though as the previous (stock) firmware got to the point where the phone would freeze up once a day and I had to do a hard system reboot (not just power off) to get it back up and running.
What should I flash it to?
