Well, the least expected parcel came first... My jig ... LOL
The item that I ordered last, comes first, hows that.
My Neo Hybrid, micro sdhc & MHL Adapter to HDMI status has changed to this --> 18 Jul 2011 12:40:00 Johannesburg Connection Delay. Recovery Actions Underway.

So I expected I should get a delivery anytime soon, heres hoping & fingers crossed...

Still havent tried the jig. Think I'm going to wait until my 32gb sd card arrives so I can backup my rom first and then the usb jig a go with firstly rooting it, then putting in a custom ROM, hopefully the CyanogenMod 7 will be released by then :)

did you get your phone and what memory did it came with ? did u get an extra microSD with it

Yeh, got mine last Friday. 16gb internal and 1gb microSD... same like probably 100% of us that got the SGS2 already...

Thanks man ok i placed an order for the 32gb microSD on prophecy and should arrive on Thursday, as well the SGP Samsung Galaxy S2 Case Neo Hybrid Series Color
Dante Red and that was last week Monday so i am not sure wen that will arrive.
 
Tested the Drive & Walk / Route 66 on my way home last night, worked perfectly.

Im waiting for the same case, no tracking number as im a cheapskate and chose the cheapest shipping option... My SGS2 also came with a 1GB SD.

Is anyone else experiencing bad wifi reception? Sitting in my lounge, about 6m from my wireless N router and the phone has 50% signal strength... Move to another room and it says its connected, but it lies.

Otherwise, awesome phone, my Earforce x41's came at the same time and they havent been touched yet ;) haha

Mine crashed the first time i tried to use it, then it did an update/license something, and all working great now.

I wish there was a way to sync this on web, or better sync with my Google Maps. I have lots of my favourites on Google Maps already and now I have to start from scratch to create favs on this Route 66.

I cant wait for the Google Maps Navigation to launch in SA.

hahahahahahahaha same here i choose the cheapest shipping hence why we in the same board lol, unfortunately United States Postal Service - First-Class Mail International Package has no tracking number .

the good part is that well i still don't have the phone so kind of makes everything a littler easier for me.

Install Brut Maps and you will have navigation. You have to be rooted though.

if you want to get google navigate to work download here i have been using that on my old Samsung galaxy s and it worked perfectly.

@Swift-wp mmmm what do you mean by rooted , does that apply to the new galaxy s2?, cause with the old galaxy s and a couple of my friend's galaxy tabs worked without the device being rooted.
