Samsung Galaxy S2

I'll be patient. I don't plan on taking it before my contract is up for renewal.
 
Yes, I am waiting out my full two years with MTN and will then change to Cell C.

Got the galaxy s, would love the s2. Think I'll wait for that one, the phone I have is a knock out.
 
Got my Galaxy S in September, AWESOME phone, but i think i will wait for the Galaxy S3 (or maybe even Galaxy S3D, by then...2012).
 
probably this will be my next phone :)
the thing that's leaning me towards this phone is the weight...
iPod Touch = 101g
Desire HD = 164g
Galaxy S2 = 116g

Just scared that it might be verrrrry flimsy, cos the Desire HD that I have is one rock solid phone!

so give me another phone that has a 4.3 inch screen, minimum 800 x 480 resolution, runs android, and is lighter than 116g and I'll go for it instantly :)

The heavier the phone, the harder it falls ;) Just remember that.
 
I dropped my Galaxy S on solid concrete from shoulder level and it suffered nothing worse than a few scratches on the metal side. Also dropped the phone on tiles, no effect (I'm pretty clumsy). I imagine the S2 will be sturdier.

Lucky you. The guys who just put in in their pants pocket and ended up with cracked screens weren't so lucky I guess :)
 
anyone else going wild on google searching out every ounce of info on the galaxy S2?
i can see it happening all over again... the last time i was this excited over a phone was with the N95... was tracking every movement until launch and beyond... and then I only ended up getting an N95 8GB after a year or so...

Same here, twas the N95 for me too.. actually resorting to some ninja googling to get results on this phone :o

i think we gonna have a longggg wait, if the phone is only officially launching in May for the rest of the world, we'll get it in July/August :(
I have to say I prefer the spur of the moment buys... for me the N97, N900 and HTC Desire HD all fell into this category... but unfortunately I came across this thread and now I have to wait :P
