Guys,

anybody having this issue with their S3,
Phone randomly reboots, and gets stuck in a boot loop at just before Samsung Logo.
i tried battery pulls, factory reset and even google, best bet i got so far is a faulty power button, doesnt seem to be software related.

ideas?

small question to all the s3 owners out there,

this phone isint covered under Samsung warranty ADH is it?

also anybody know of somebody who replaces s3 screens that are cracked, I'm trying to help a friend out

preferably cheap :)

As far as I know it is only the S5 and Note 3 that is covered.

Tell your friend to go to the China stores / flea markets / malls to get it sorted. Found that they are the cheapest.

No it is not covered by ADH, the S4 was the first to have this AFAIK. Also heard some guys at the China Mall can do it cheaply.

Same problem here. My phone is just over two years old now and this happens more and more often.

Yes check China Mall, look for the busier guys and tell them you want an original, not cheap chinese screen.

I have searched for a solution for the random boot loops and I can't find anything.

I now have a Nokia cheapie that I carry around with my phone. I think the only solution is a new non Samsung made phone.

R599 S3 battery still No Stock and R699 S3 extra battery dock combo Samsung Store Brooklyn are Crazy !

my s4 started doing the same thing in the last week

Had the issue with a faulty power button. If you tap the phone firmly with the power button side down it helps. Just don't tap the power button.

Thanks, I managed to get my phone to stay on for 5 minutes while I took some files off of it.
I'm now using a friends old iPhone 4s and I don't even miss my S3.

Just sent my phone in to Samsung, they called me back a few days later saying they replaced the mobo, hopefully will make a difference.
