Luckily no issue at all with Cellsure, and got myself a S4 by just paying the 10% excess (R677)

Now the hard part, moving apps & data to S4 from my S3 backup

^^ Cool, and to make life easier for the other guys (had to go 4 pages back) :p

Dropped my phone badly out of my pocket, screen cracked and no display but i can luckily adb in and send commands and use AndroidScreenCast to view it

Now I need to take it in to insurance (cellsure) but I am on CM11, so now I need to download the latest stock for Vodafone from Sammobile but battling with that, then I need to see if I can take my current 4.4.2 to 4.3 without issues in Odin

Then of course use Triangle Away at the end

Seeing that must of us got this phone 2 years ago, and probably still have it, what will you be upgrading to? S5?

Hmmm... I am actually thinking of skipping an upgrade (going for a no phone discount). I just don't think that the new phones have much more to offer. The S3 is still fine.

What improvements are you guys looking for? Newer phones will be a bit snappier... but that's about it?

Bigger, crisper screen. Snappier performance. Better battery life. Not that the S3 is severely lacking in any of the above btw.

I feel the Note series meets my requirements best.

I've gotta say, if my gps was working, I wouldn't upgrade.

Temasek Cm 11 is snappy and battery life gets me through a work day.

I am looking at note 3 too but saw a few battery tests online saying the S5 has better battery life. But honestly I don't need to upgrade. My S3 with resurrection remix is perfect.

Got the S5 a couple of days ago and loving the bigger screen and snappier performance.
Also quite enjoying having a stable ROM again after having been on CM nightly with a few 'hiccups' every few days :p

May unsubscribe from this thread if the S3 starts to gather dust.. if you guys still want help with flashing etc, let me know or refer to my earlier post ;)
