Samsung Galaxy S3

I would assume loading original firmware that overwrites the bootloader would for all intensive purposes unroot the phone wouldn't it?

Flashing the original firmware will remove root, that's to say if you have already downloaded the original firmware which is a hefty size.

Maybe just a heads-up. I'm very anal about Battery Life on my devices and achieve insane results if you take some time and study BetterBatteryStats (Availible for free on XDA)
But I get unusual high battery drainage on CM9 RC2 released yesterday. I will test the latest nightly and give feedback.
FYI Nightly 20120707 was best, loosing 1% in 8hours in Deep Sleep.

Well, apparently you can make one by just cutting up two cables, one with a male microUSB end and one with a female USB end, then connect the wires in the correct way, there are guides on youtube etc. The "official" ones from Samsung are a bit expensive, about R200

Me too, Dosbox Turbo is an excellent emulator.

Can you do a keyboard as well? Like connecting a hub for more than one device?

Bought myself a R129 Body Glove cover for my phone...

Hopefully this will protect it if I am stupid enough to drop it again.

:D

I have the official Samsung case that replaces the rear cover and provides a front flap. I don't even use it anymore - it increases the thickness of the phone noticeably (disregarding the flap) and the flap doesn't move into a comfortable position when using the phone. What a waste of money.

Would plugging a memory stick in work?

Yes, provided it's not NTFS (assuming you mean a USB flash stick instead). FAT32 hard-drives also work. So do external soundcards as I mentioned earlier.

I considered one of those - but I imagined that the flap would be annoying.

This body glove case does add a bit of bulk to the phone - but I'd rather have the extra bulk and know that my phone has some decent protection.

I got a clear hard plastic cover for mine, but it is so smooth it increases the chances of the phone sliding off the couch ect.

Must get a silicon one instead :erm:
