Samsung Galaxy S8

Just had a play with an S8 that was delivered this morning, nice screen, but not worth the cost to upgrade from an S7...

LG G6 pricing is R599 for Vodacom smart S+, if the S8 is from R649, my guesstimate is add R50 across the LG G6 packages for the S8 price & add R150 for the S8plus ..

15 576 over 24 month vs upfront 15299 @ DionWired ...

Spoke to someone who said they received a call from MTN (aka, this is hearsay)...

For the S8:
R649 with 200min 200sms and 500mb
R679 with 100min 100sms and 2gb data
 
Just a update on my earlier post. The pre order S8 plus i am getting . i am on a Smart M plus contract R799 (120 free minutes, apparently 700 mb free data and 120 free sms)

According to what I understand, this is only soft launch (only pre order) Should have the S 8 plus latest Saturday afternoon.
 
So how clever is fanie? well, let me tell you.

I pre-order with CelluCity, but then I select OR Tambo as the store of choice... so I phone them to follow up, oh sorry sir, we only do cash sales here, no contracts or upgrades... FML

So I put in another pre-order, Mall of Africa... follow it up with a call... oh, we will most probably only receive the stock tomorrow, and I don't really know what else to tell you... FML

FML FML FML Can someone in JHB please tell me where I can definitely go pick one up tomorrow?

Go onto facebook chat (messenger) with cellucity. They answer in minutes and i was sorted

Are CelluCity good with their deals in general? What package are you taking this on?
 
Visited both Telkom stores in my area yesterday and they had nothing. Seems they will only be ready by the 5th of next month. :(

i was phoned by my original Voda sales person, given a contract ( better) deal.
Plus assurance i will have my phone 0900 tommorrow.
So i changed ships. Cancelled other one.
