okay - noticed the following changes to my phone
1) now bar in the lock screen and always on display - busy getting that to setup to a way that i like - it shows the media player and sports score notifications amongst other things - those two immediately affected me and how i use my phone
2) separated notifications and quick settings - i quite like this because they have added more quick settings which you can remove if you don't like them - and the notifications look different and you can set them to be short or more verbose (whichever you prefer)
3) vertical app drawer if you set to alphabetical order - as well as a scrolling arrow which shows the letter of the alphabet that you have reached
4) being able to enlarge folders on your homescreen - and when the folder is enlarged you can click on apps within the boundraries of the folder to directly open the app without opening the folder unless there are too many apps contained in that folder and you can't see the icon without scrolling to them
5) many more widgets available to enhance the look and functionality of your homescreen - all widgets are also now stackable ie so you can swipe the widget aside and you can have a different widget representing another app underneath that (as many as you like) previously from what i know in One UI7.1 the google bar on the home page was stackable like this - but the stacking feature is now available for all widgets that you use on your home pages
6) many app icons look very different from what they used to - to me these new ones look more modern (apple users may complain that they copied apple even more now

7) now my phone includes ambient wallpaper mode (whichis a fun thing but a waste since you should have the weather app to tell you the weather without needing a visual representation on your lock screen wallpaper
8) i thought that the S24FE was not going to get the audio eraser but according to my AI list it seems to be there - not sure if its working but its listed
9) S24FE did also get call recording and you can transcribe recorded calls - but the recording has to be good because the transcription can be wonky at the best of times - i wasn't too happy with the transcription of some of the recordings i made when i tested the feature - it doesn't seem to hear too well (even on the regular voice recordings - actually even more worse on the voice recordings) - i tried looking for a way to do transcription of other saved fls but the transcribe function only works on whatever was recorded and saved on the Samsung Voice recorder
10) recently used apps has changed to a more pleasing look with overlapping pages shown instead of the prior view where the pages were side by side - i'm a huge fan of the new look here
this is the stuff i noticed since i did the update at 6PM to now (11PM) - will keep on adding whatever changes i see but there are enough to keep me happy for a while before i start playing around with Good Lock
