Think the biggest advantage is the support and knowledge for getting as many points as possible.

Not to mention the fact that you have a vastly improved chance of knowing when new items are being loaded fast enough to actually get them.

I did mute it and turned off notifications, but it still shows the unread message count on my android home screen on the whatsapp icon
