Samsung rewards

Mine broke as well.

As did mine and CameKaze's on here. It's a known issue, they're NOT worth it.

That's the exact spot mine broke, Samsung even replaced them for the Level Over headphones and when they also broke they basically told me to go away.

They had the nerve to tell me I can have them sent in for evaluation, I have to pay for shipping, and if it's found to be user error I have to pay for the evaluation as well.

I'm lucky to work close to the Samsung HQ. I just drove there and made a scene and they approved a replacement on the spot. Waited for it for almost 6 weeks though.

I dropped mine a few times so didn't even contact Samsung

This might be a stupid question, so please bare with me: does Samsung Rewards work on custom ROMs (non-stock, like CyanogenMod, etc.)?

It seems to work on some, yes, but not all.

Hectic. I had no idea the headphones were so useless. They look like they are premium quality. Their price certainly suggests this.

Look the rest of the Samsung products I own are really decent. I have several phones, a TV, some screens around the house, Blu-Ray player, sound bar, bluetooth speaker, battery pack, in-ear earphones, etc. etc., but really, those headphones of theirs leave some to the imagination when it comes to build quality. Sound quality is top-notch, so if they can just replace the headbands with something decent, they'll be fine.
