Got my letter of completion last night, after having submitting supporting docs for the reduced assessment and being selected for audit second time round. Second submission done 14 July.

Received my money this money after first submitting on the 3rd of July , paying a penalty and being audited . So a month in total
 
Second submission done 16th July selected for Audit, got completion letter this morning...awesome
 
You guys are lucky... submitted my return on the 1st of July, had to upload supporting documents, received second IT34 on the 20th of July and still no refund. Called SARS and was told that it can take up to 21 working days for SARS to pay refund, just don't understand why it is taking so long this year.. really frustrating.. :confused: Just wondering if you have to receive a completion letter from SARS, or if the second IT34 is meant to show that the audit is finished..?
 
Sad thing is I know people who would fall for that.

Anyways, fled = filed. typo.
 
Apologies if being asked to death but does anyone know if I changed my address recently if I'd have to submit proof at a branch?
 
Zuma's bank account, sorry SARS running low on funds?

Employee's well below the submission limit, with single employer and no other taxable earnings/deductions are receiving prior year non-submission default letters with a R250 per return charge...
 
Moms account just received the Notice of Completion letter, hopefully those delayed RA funds that were not carried forward correctly get paid out soon.

SARS is a bit clownish this year...

This exact same thing happened to me last year, just received a 2nd IT34 and no completion letter. Had a special stopper on and only got paid early October.

Refund in my account this morning.
 
Please can someone assist. I've done my efilling on the 15 july 2017. Everything went through and I have a refund due. I've updated on efilling new banking details. On the 20 july 2017, I got a sms stating "dear tax payer, a review of your tax return requires you to visit a SARS branch. Go to sars.gov.za to find out what documents are required or call 0800007277.SARS
On the 21 july I went to sars branch waited few hours and finally handed in my bank statement,I'd proof of address. I registered with there biomatrics system aswell.since than nothing from sars. I've called them and they say my refund is in verification process??? Any idead how long does verification takes..???
