SARS E-Filing 2019 OPEN!

You should try TaxTim (and no, I don't work or am affiliated to them)
I used them. Absolutely marvelous! I got them sponsored by Momentum but I would pay the R299/R499 for it to them to help capture and review. After all, they try to maximize your return based on your personal income and liabilities.

This is what I have currently. Yesterday there was nothing under "refunds", the payout was under "balance". Hope this helps.
FYI my notice of assessment date is the date I submitted.
And in account.

Anyone been audited and paid yet?
I have now refund date. This is so frustrating. For the past years I submit on tje first, get told 21 working days yet wait 3-6 months. Has anyone else experienced it to be quicker this year? I feel because its a fairly large return, they hold on to it for ages.

I used to submit around August usually. Then it took about 2 months for the payout. This year it took 9 days and I had to resubmit my logbook twice.

Payment arrived this morning. 30k

Let me tell you about waiting

Last year I knew I would be getting a refund. So I planned to use the funds to upgrade my PC. I had my mind set on a particular chassis. I checked everyday to see that is was still in stock while I was waiting to SARS to pay me. I waited and waited and then on the very day that they paid me the chassis was sold out and I had to wait for the next container which took two months to arrive :crying:

Ha!
My issue is slightly different - every year I make the cardinal mistake of spending the cash before it's even come in! So have to wait for the refund to sort out my CC.
Yeah yeah, I know, you're not supposed to budget for these things and all that - times is tough man, need every cent I can get.

Still waiting, called the Help desk twice and got two different stories for the delay! Called again the morning, there was a wait time of 8 minutes so I opted for the call-back option, it has now been 1.5 hours and still waiting for the cal-back. WTF?

Anyone else that submitted on Monday still waiting to be paid?

I am... a colleague that submitted on Tuesday has 'electronic refund' on their SOA with a date... I asked SARS what's up, they basically said sit vas, it takes between 7-21 days.
