SARS E-Filing 2019 OPEN!

How long once you have filed your tax return online does it take to be assessed and get a SOA ?
 
Finally got a completion letter, originally filed on the 16th July. No date of refund on the SoA yet though
 
Submited 23 July on app. SOF showed 2018 outstanding but nowhere they have the option to change the year. On 1 Aug i went on crome efilling and did 2018. Still waiting for both refunds and no sms from sars. What seems to be the problem. Now today the 1 date show payment date 30/9/2019 and the other 1 January 2020. Anyone have the same problem?

**** - they finally completed my revised ITA34 and managed to magically add R*** of interest - I have filed a reason request and three disputes - I want to look the person in the eye at SARS who can do this and not think of the consequences. A correction will not be enough

Has anyone used efiling fine before 1 July and after the upgraded site went live been unable to log in? I phoned the call centre and logged this. I phoned back a week later and was told that they are experiencing problems and I must keep trying it will be fixed. Now a month later it is still not working. It just gives an error unable to verify login details. I am able to reset my password but it still gives the error. Using chrome, edge and the android app. Any help will be greatly appreciated?

I had a similar issue. I was able to log on, do filing and, then a week later (last week) for a day I couldn't log in. Was told same story as you. After insisting it worked, their only solution was to go in to a sars branch to get it fixed...:mad:

Needless to say, they received a few 1/10 ratings for that support cal.

Literally 15 seconds, and money paid back to me the next business day. Return included capital gains and losses, pension and provident fund withdrawals, multiple IT3B and IT3C certificates, etc. so a bit complex.

So I filed this morning and SARS owes me, I updated my banking details on the APP, how will this affect my payout?

Hi. Reset your password again.. but this time don't use a ampersand character. It should work then.
 
Finally got my completion letter today, 33 working days after submitting supporting documents (45 weekdays).
Longer wait than 2016, 2017 and 2018 , but not close to the 100 weekdays wait in 2015 !

There should be a special stopper on your refund. To clear this you will most likely have to visit SARS and submit documents to support the new banking details. This is how it is supposed to work, but SARS systems has been messy this year, you might just get paid without the need to verify the banking details. If you don't get the refund in 7 working days then phone then to confirm if you need to visit SARS
