SARS E-Filing 2020/21

And additional deductions like home office or travel expenses?
I didn't bother as yes I have worked from home but it'll be a PITA and I am an essential services provider as well.

I just want my standard tip refund.

Did any of provisional tax payers here get auto-assessed as well ? I doubt how they could auto-assess in this case tbh.

So on Saturday I chose to "VIEW the auto assessment".
The site never took me to an APPROVE screen - it just went to the "create a return" page.

Today 2021 has the following for the 2021 season:

Those that have been able to accept their auto assessment - what does it say for your 2021 season return?
So the automated call centre confirms I do not have to submit a return. Yet I have not been able to click ACCEPT for my auto assessment. So I guess I'll have to just wait and see if the refund comes through in the next few days as per the SOA.

If it is internal error (which it looks like), then it is better that user is not shown what actually happened.
It's great hey..... call centre lemmings won't be able to help and no one actually responds to emails anymore....

Hey everyone,

Can someone share a screenshot of the box to tick to submit work from home expenses. I cannot see any box to enable the capture of it.

Thanks in advance.

We changed payroll providers during the year, basically a 5/7 month split. So since my form isn't auto-populating yet I decided to just ask the current payroll provider for my IRP5 and input it manually, just for interest sake.

:ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:

If that calculation turns out to be correct I'll be pissing myself, basically 4 months salary refund.

Someone fekked up somewhere in the transition between the two payroll companies and upped the tax paid, gross income for the year checks out though.

Will wait to see what actually pulls through on a refresh.

Yeah, get 4 months back now, next year they calculate and you owe them 4 months. :)

Filled today, nice refund, no review/audit for the first time in many years. Rental income is usually a guaranteed review

Just read through the correspondence. They haven't actually said what they'd like. Do I just upload everything?

I reckon audit is random but subject to certain conditions. If expenses while declaring rental income exceed a certain "dodgy" level, it might trigger something as well.
