SARS E-Filing 2020/21

If I log into SARS I get fokol, no returns, no irp5, nada... but I suspect it's TaxTim related
You did a tax transfer type I believe? If so, then he did not authorise the transfer. You can call SARS and ask them for an override code.

Ok cool, let me try that.

When did you complete filing?
Saturday at 12:31.

I logged in, filled the missing gaps they always make you do and then hit the submit button.

Not claiming WFH as I don't qualify because I work from my bedroom. The only plausible WFH space is already been used by the wife for her business so not taking any chances.

If I may ask, what did you purchase from Takealot that would be tax deductible?

Normally (but not always) products purchased would be capital expenses and not tax deductible while services would be the opposite. There uses to be a R threshold under which SARS would allow Capital expenses to be deducted in full at the time of purchase, cannot recall now what this is
Bought a printer. I can't remember the value of the cap. I remember seeing it on TaxTim or somewhere but I was well below it.

Same issue. Decided to try TaxTim this year, and so far it's been quite bumpy. Let us know if you come right.
I completed all my info on TaxTim, but it has been in "Reviewing" status since Thursday.

So if you log into efiling there's nothing there?

Ugh... I hate you so much Tax Tim.

My efiling profile is still screwed after a week. Can't do anything on my profile, my returns history is missing, everthing is just gone.

Stuck in this state, every time I chat to SARS they just say I must wait 24 hours.

Don't say that...
I was planning to use them for the first time this year.

Nada. I can't see my return for this year, and all my previous returns are missing. No IRP5's etc...
Exactly the same as mine yeah.. TaxTim says it's not their fault

I've just spoken to SARS now, the guys on the efiling help line can't override taking back the profile.
TaxTim needs to release my profile, messaged them now.

Did a bit of searching... If you go into your efiling profile User > Tax Types > Manage Tax Types, you will see the TAX type active for TaxTim (MD Sevitz in my case). There is a dropdown there where you can select shared access. This fixed my access, I can see everything again.

Has it been 5 days since your request?

Step 7:

Complete the request by clicking “Request”.

Once you click “Request” the request will be sent to the holder of the profile and request they authorise the transfer.

They are required to respond within 5 working days. If they do not, Sars will issue an override code for you to insert and the profile will be transferred.

There is no reason that the holder is allowed to not authorise the transfer including unpaid monies.

Did it 27'th, got paid this morning.

they auto assessed me, then requested some documents anyway

Did shared access take effect immediately?
And can you now actually submit your return on efiling, or just view it?
