Did you give them your login details? Could be that your profile was transferred to their profile...

I think that's whats happened, didn't realise that it completely takes over my profile though.

The TaxTim interface is terrible - I can't see previous returns or any prepopulated figures on my return. They want me to answer dozens of questions without being able to see what's already on my return.
 
Yeah, it's TaxTim. Found a way to regain control of my profile and remove their access.
Will take 24hours and then I should be able to do my own tax.
 
Bliksems only sent my completion letter now. No adjustments to be made.
Now the wait for deposit notice.

When did you submit supporting docs ?

I know I said I will chill and let SARS be ... but truth is I'm anxious and want that money ...shhh!

I was keeping this to myself ... but I did register with Taxtim ( like on Tues) ... realizing I dont have time to deal with SARS Returns and the drama that comes with it....
but was doing it for them to handle my company SARS things

But when they kept prompting me to answer the goddamn questions to try to get to know me and what taxtim package will be suitable for me ... I just left it like that .... I smelled a problem coming from a KMs away driving a VW Polo

It hit me that I once assigned a Tax Practitioner (some years back) to handle my SARS things ... eeerhh next thing I was due for a huge Refund that I don't even know where it was coming from ... and SARS wanted proof (docs) ... and I couldn't even be able to do things my in my own Tax returns ... imagine

Right in that moment I dropped all the iiisshh that I was doing went straight to the branch
.... Bra I denied knowing about any Tax Practitioner assinged to my SARS profile ...like a criminal deny something they know very well that they did in the court of law

Then they removed that Tax Pract.. assignment ... with immediate effect (Ramaphosa style) ... with that said I to sign bunch of docs that I didnt know about that thing..
Then BOOM .. I regained control ..

Moral of the story ,,, Lesson learned with assigning the folks or companies to handle isshhhh in my Returns ... Wont ever do it again

So I understand that frustration.

Does anybody know what this error means

ITR12 bank details same as U3TM

This is from SARS auto assessing me looked at my ipr5 and on SARS bank details are correct and the same, even got an ita34 from them
 
I opened a Tax Free savings account with ABSA last year, so I'm supposed to get am IT3S certificate right? Their app can't locate a certificate for 2021 year. Anyone else have this issue? I think this is the only outstanding document I need before I can file.

You tax free savings details should be populated in your return already

Nope. Did my initial return and submitted. I realized I made a mistake on my home office calc, and requested a correction. Submitted that and got asked for verification.
I uploaded most of my docs but while I was waiting for my WFH letter from my employer, they signed off on the verification, while I hadn't sent my IRP5 yet either.
Got a refund date for today yesterday morning, but yesterday afternoon at three got a new verification message. So I reuploaded everything with my IRP5 and WFH letter included

I am also waiting for ABSA to make available the documentation needed

I think this is the norm. Had that too. You can accept it or amend it. I chose to amend as I had other stuff to add.
