SARS E-Filing 2020/21

I need to know where I can find my company tax reference number. I know sars is supposed to have it but I didn't register it yet. I've been told that CIPC automatically generates one. Where can I find it?

To use the most dreaded and overused phrase of the decade... Clearly it's their "new normal"

Incidentally, on Friday SARS submitted a 'corrected' return on my behalf. They thought it wise to exclude internet connectivity from my home office claim. Although randoms like gardener, domestic and coffee beans were all good to claim and accepted.

After 4 months, I honestly could not care less. Refund about R5k less than what it should have been, but paid and done. Moving on.
Probably exactly how they pferer it to play out. Knowing how frustrated and fedup the average tax payer will be at this point, not wanting to waste more time objecting, they ultimately walk away victorious.

Now waiting with little hope on FIA approval. I'm sure they will do their best as always to disappoint.

Not sure if you were helped yet. Check on Bizportal. Search with registered company name, registration number or your id number. It will be there.

I am still since Dec in verification/status awaiting a resource. 21 days long gone.

So guess another 2 months.

Lodge a complaint through the complaints line or contact the ombudsman. They have a fairly low tolerance in their risk model for ombuds complaints or SLA complaints throught their own channel. Dont accept that its being " escalated " as theres no such thing.

Lodged 2 days ago and today they want more information.

What does "Detailed financial statements and all supporting calculations for trade profit/loss (including farming)" mean or require?

I can provide profit/loss calculations and list of rental income payments BUT no financial statements!

Have you sent them scans of the actual invoices of the expenses you claimed along with a PDF breakdown?

I would phone the call centre or use the efiling chat feature and ask them what they are still looking for, it might also be a glitch and the system is resending the old message.

Ok will try chat feature because calling them seems an issue.
 
Has anyone had issues trying to change their banking details to Tymebank on the SARS app and it fails constantly? Keeps complaining about the branch code, even though it is correct and is automatically entered when you select Tymebank.
 
My wife submitted everything that they requested in Dec. They just taking a piss now. Was going to use the refund to go away for Easter :(
Exactly same. We both submitted all info except photo of my home office.

Same here, got a requesy for more info. I literally submitted everything, photos of home office, floorplans, invoices for every transaction, bank statements, a stack of like 90 documents in total...

Looks like they need us to submit a blood and semen sample.
