SARS IT head suspended

SARS IT head Mmamathe Makhekhe-Mokhuane has been placed on precautionary suspension pending the finalization of a disciplinary process for "serious misconduct", according to a statement from SARS.

"Ms. Makhekhe-Mokhuane’s precautionary suspension takes effect immediately," SARS stated. "It must be re-iterated, that these suspensions are precautionary in nature and as such do not amount to findings of any wrongdoing on the part of the executives concerned," SARS said.

these things cost us too much tax money for actions to take so long

WTF does that mean? more delay tactics? why suspending somebody who has done no wrong? maybe she was part of the decision.... she clearly didnt see any issues, and paid off time is always welcome

Loooooong overdue. That we have to continue paying her salary while suspended is an even greater tragedy :mad:

It means Sars are officially not pronouncing on her guilt until the disciplinary is finished.
 
Suspended a couple of million rand later. Will still earn millions while on suspension.

They should not suspend her, but suspend the HR who didn't verify her qualifications.

She is Zuma lackey so the Zuma faction hired her. You can't blame her. Blame the people intentionally wanting to weaken institutions so Mr Zuma and his network of corrupt pals don't have to pay tax
 
Sit at home. Not cause headaches for them. Out of the limelight, but still getting full salary...

Now the people under her, have to work hard or "act"
 
Took so long because they probably have to find her a new position somewhere else first.

By us. We had 7 suspended. 3 of them for almost 2 years.

They come back. Get back pay on bonuses, full leave credits, and then also backpay on increases. (and I know of 2 that have other businesses they are "assisting" family members with)

Now 9 months later after sitting at home, is she only now suspended. This stuff is just too funny.

She will take them to the CCMA who will award her millions for sitting on her arse.
