Sreamer seems to be a popular isp, but how does one go about joining in on the fun if screamer isn't taking any more people in?
South Africa’s biggest forum. Discuss, discover, and connect with thousands of members.
I have a mixed bag of results. HTTP downloads are more often than not, slow. On the other hand, torrents are quite fast. I normally do about 1GB a day on my 384kb line, which is not great at all, but times that by 30 days and the R400 suddenly becomes worthwhile. Maybe I should just use my afrihost account to browse and screamer to download.

Hi Freejack
This is not a permanent situation and we should be getting additional broadband within the week and any applications we have held back will then be processed on a first come, first served basis.

Are the uncapped accounts grouped together with the limited cap accounts? i.e. do they share bandwidth?
NAT'ing over yet? Wasn't it supposed to be fixed this week?
Stay far away.

Hi
We are still waiting for the full range which as noted above (http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showpost.php?p=3437368&postcount=3), should be towards the end of Dec.
One question. I've heard some people changed the settings on their modem and it improved performance. Where can I get these settings from?
