Screamer WiMax

at 10% packet loss at the moment , pretty unplayable with the lag spikes it causes.

I have come to realise that when my Screamer connection is jittery it is just the *universe's* way of telling me to read more books; watch more tv; and spend more time with my wife.
 
I have a question, can you buy the wimax equipment somewhere or can you only rent it from screamer? If you can buy it does anybody know where i can?
 
For the four hundred and seventy two thousandth time on MyBroadband: NO you can NOT buy WiMAX equipment and you can NOT reuse WiMAX equipment from other providers.
 
And yet all is fine this morning - been running a check since 7am until now before going to work.

So either the problem has been fixed; or it corrected itself; or there is a capacity problem during the evening and perhaps during the day.

And has just started to deteriorate - good this be that more business people are using the capacity? Think so ....
 
That would be awesome, this whole "no stock" thing is really annoying, I mean the website claims 48 hours :(

I bought my own equipment , and installed everything by myself. I contacted one of there agents and he provided me with a username and password. i was up and running withing 20 minutes after i finished my instalation.

My 512k connection has 0% packet loss on round about 1000 ping replies with a avg jitter of 3ms

I have only experienced poor service from Screamer. I had to send in my application form in twice and my ID 3 times already. Howzit can you please help out here?

Hey a business opportunity for cash payers because they are over 1 week behind in installation.... well that is if I get mine on Monday...

My wimax doesn't authenticate. I tried the number above, but was 1st in line for 45 minutes!

F**k their support is useless.

Does anyone know their physical address ?
 
Yeah my wimax also down. It doesnt want to authenticate username and password. Anyone else having this problem?

I had the same thing again a while ago, it just came right by itself the next morning.

Strangely it seem to happen when there was a storm or rain???:D
 
Nope.

Wanna kill someone.

I just worked out I spend 69% of my telephone bills on sorting issues like this out.
This is with eskom, telkom, jhb city council etc.

I really am getting murderous thoughts now.
