SEACOM explains prolonged problems

it is not really unbelievable.

crap happens.

we just got to deal with it.

seacom does not have control over the other cable.

all we can do is be patient.
 
FRIDAY! Hopefully they are just saying Friday so that when it is fixed earlier we are pleased.
 
Telkom must enjoy these days as it's not going to last long!
 
I just topped up my SUX account (SAIX). Oh well lets go see if there is any one on the SOURCE servers..

Am I just being a bit silly expecting an article that claims that one entity explains an even contains information from said entity explaining said event?
 
The maintenance and damage is acceptable, but an overall downtime of 5 days? thats a poor turnaround time, regardless of the causation.
 
What happened to the Seacom redundancy? I would have thought that they had alternative plans in place.
