Sign a warning letter?

That is also a concern I have...
On another trend, I have been toying with the idea of creating a database of bad employers for some time now... In other words, getting a rating of a company before you work for them... Unfortunately too complex for my brain to handle all the potential loopholes and the other issues.

Also been thinking of this. Has to be done right though.

My idea was to allow people to give feedback on companies after they interview you.... so both positive and negative.
Also kind of prepare people for the grilling they might get at an interview. Will they phone back if you don't make it or will they just ignore you etc.

Could do the same kind of thing with exit interviews, but the problem might be that when people leave it might be on condition of silence.

why hasn't the accuser testified? or even attended? how is that ok behaviour?

First appeal, she cancelled on the day as she was ill
Second appeal, she had a meeting and called a company representative, which happened to be the 'witness' from the issuing.

Total blindside and sneaky! I had no idea until I walked in and saw GM wasn't there. When I saw the 'witness', I thought it was for me - but she was now the company representative .

That witness lied about certain instances outright

The same witness that you said was your friend in one of your earlier posts? People who you work with are your colleagues and not your friends.

Do you have a copy of the warning letter?

Yup - same one!

And yup, I do

Rule 101: People at work are not your friends.
And by the way, this thread (and my comments) are now the topic of discussion at work

Ciao, before I get into trouble.

Perhaps she became Dolby's 'friend' in order to try and get close to him and get some dirt on him.

I've seen someone at work back-stab others in his section in order to get ahead. It was someone that I never suspected would do something like that. Luckily he was found out before he could do any damage and moved to a different section because his colleagues no longer wanted to work with him.

The whole thing sounds very Machiavellian.

Dolby was just the right opportunity that presented itself it could have been anyone. Also one needs to know the inter office relationships in order to know who you can trust in these kind of situations. Dolby was probably not aware of what was going on around him.

They don't know about your postings in SW&D ?

Rule 102: When in doubt, see rule 101

@dolby
The persona of this GM reminds me of an exec that I know of. She used bullying tactics to systematically break down a department until all the people were gone.
This was until she was subject to a mass grievance and then she received the same treatment until she left.

I can't help but wonder if she is the same person that is putting you thru this.
Probability is low.

I would say probability is more than low...
In many cases like this, digging deep brings up a history of this kind of behaviour.

I'll have to check her phone ;)

Preliminary finding is they're going to uphold on the basis of an instruction given - regardless of how was given.

In other words he's saying the presentation was the message

That is bollocks of the highest order if you ask me...

Of course you can challenge it further, but is it worth it until you find another position?

PS. HR has an IPhone.

I'm going to think about it tonight - but I think I will. The thing is the result is they want me out. Whether I fight it or not, it'll be the same situation.
