@Skyworth Digital Support I wanted to know how do I go about putting the tv box never to sleep as I did turn everything off but it still goes to sleep, I want the tv box to stay on permanently

How long before it goes to sleep?

Please try turning off the HDMI CEC entirely. That will help eliminate the possibility of the TV influencing things.

@Skyworth Digital Support I have done a proper 5.1 test and the 5.1 sound does not work on the skyworth box , It looks like it may be a codec problem, when will this be fixed ?,

I see the Telkom LIT owners posting about a latest update fixing Netflix.

Hello All, please help, whilst watching either tv or movies my Tv box will stop whatever it is doing and then go to the screensaver page without warning. No specific time frame..it randomly does this. If you then go back and continue it carries on from where it stopped.

Please advise your thoughts on this as it is quite annoying...

you need to sideload netflx from a usb and install es file explorer, so you can therefore install the sideloaded app

Thanks, will it be 1080 HD, currently using the 5.3.1 apk on my Beelink with stock android and it works fine, not sure if its 1080 though, will this be the same apk to sideload if i get this box?
I want ATV without the hassle of changing roms etc

yes that will be 1080p and it will be the same apk to sideload if you get this box, but in actual fact you dont need netflix why you dont try cyberflix apk , it got everything you need and it is free, which is amazing, full 1080p links also, you can also add the RD service on this to get better links.

We don't actually decode and re-encode Dolby. Only passthrough is supported at this stage. However 5.1 surround passthrough should work fine. Could you give us the details of the test you're running? Please DM us with more information.

did you test a 5.1 movie with a 5.1 surround sound system connected to the box and does this work on your side? if it did please do share how did you go about coming right with this.

The Xiaomi Mi Box is incredible, but it is abit over priced on takealot I would say, if the skyworth box does not come right with the 5.1 surround sound , I am going to have to sell it and buy me a Xiaomi Mi box,

Geewiz has the MiBox s for 1599 if i remember correctly, isnt that the MiBox 4?
