Skyworth Binge Android TV box

I want to recommend the Skyworth to my brother that has a 4KTV but to my knowledge has never even seen anything 4K on it because it's a non smart TV and he doesn't have a media player capable of it.

I say the skyworth box will be worth it, all android tv boxes have the same functionality its just about brand ,price and what people use it for, to be honest I have the skyworth box with cyberflix apk installed and I have the the Real Debrid service linked to cyberflix ,so I can stream 5.1 links and I can stream 4k which works wonderful, I have not had any issues so far besides me been a bit stupid and forgetting you needed the codecs apk for 5.1 lol.

I never knew that it had that port, but for the price of the Mi box compared to the skyworth box and the functionality the skyworth box can do is pretty slick , The Mi box is damn good but price wise I would tell people to take the skyworth box, its just abit to priced in my opinion.

it can you have to sideload the apk , like how you sideload cyberlix apk. but you dont need netflix if you have cyberflix lol coz netflix is old and not updated on regular bases.

Ah but that accounts for the difference in price.

The Telkom LIT you also needed to sideload APKs and it was messy. You should see what it looks like now !

I'd pay a few hundred extra for legit Netflix support

Will send you a picture of my box when i get home from work , with the side load launcher apk you can view all the side loaded apks with the launcher is pretty slick and you dont see all that cluttered apps on the home menu

Try cyberflix out you will like it coz its how terrarium was they just replicated terrarium tv for better user interface and functionality after the guy gave terrarium tv up

Yea I'll be honest ... I used to have the HP microserver when it was the rage, and all the pirate sites / torrents etc. Yea - you got the content, but like you say sometimes things didn't work or horrible 720 compressed and pixellated / muffled stereo sound. The interfaces didn't look great and there were dead links everywhere.

When I started going 'legal' watching TV was just so easy. I don't even have 3rd party boxes because sometimes I find them 'messy' too. I say 'legal' because I still use a VPN.

Hijacking thread - but how is Purplepeach?
Someone said UHD / decent sound and no dead links?

lucky I dont experience any issues like that hey, I can gladly say I dont have any sound issues and with Real Debrid I am streaming proper 4k/1080p 10-40gb links hassel free

Purplepeach TV, no idea, as I do not do Facebook.
 
Ok, got my box last night. Very happy with it. Easy question I hope. What is the steps to sideload apk's. I noticed that the settings menu is a bit different. Where must I select unknown sources allowed and what would be the best launcher to install or is it better just to install the apk directly?

use google files (formally files 2 go) simple file explorer and no intrusive ads - also has a nice cleaner feature for space
