why must i wait three weeks for an answer on a faulty device that is 6 months old "?, why cant the shop i purchased the device test the unit and honour the guarantee, i will strongly advise anyone i see not to purchase one of your products

I agree. The aftermarket support is terrible.

Hate to say it, but just stick to Google, Xiaomi, Nvidia or Apple products when it comes to streaming locally.

Hi I have a skyworth binge hpa02 box . The remote does not pair. The light on the remote flashers but does not connect. Will a 3rd part bluetooth remote with a adapter work. And what happens with the remote pairing screen?
This update broke my box. Now streaming from stremio half way through movies or tv series it freezes and framse drop to like 5fps
Same with DSTV Stream. It streams a bit then freezes and then frames drop really badly.
I reset it but still the same issue. Looks like I might have to replace it now... What did these idiots do to this box. It was perfect.
Damn, mine was initially really buggy but after a restart it came right. Wish I got a notification before it updated. I had no idea it happened until I saw the new startup screen.
Same. Now I'm frustrated. I restart it 4 times a day. I have to restart it after the lagging starts in the middle of every episode. Perhaps it's got a memory leak filling up the ram or something but it's totally unusable now.

Factory reset it a few times before replacing it, you may just get lucky.

I reset it like 3 times now still broken. Now the Rugby is on I can't use it. It freezes and the falls behind the live stream. I feel like I can hit this thing with a hammer now.
I won't buy a Skyworth again.

Sigh now the box has a new problem. Each time I try to open settings app the box freezes and restarts. Can't connect to wifi anymore
Looks like either a software or hardware issue relating to the wifi. As soon as I plug in Ethernet everything works but the settings app still crashes the box so I think the settings app is trying to use the wifi dongle and it causes some sort of kernel panic that reboots it.
