Slow Incredible Connection Voucher

a friend of mine gave me his 39GB ADSL voucher that he got from incredible connection last month. i activated it and speeds were fine, torrents were going between 500kbps and 750 kbps. however since the start of June the speeds have been terrible, they dont go over 20kbps on torrens! direct downloads go even slower at 5kbps!

is anyone else experiencing the same problems? i have tried contacting customer support but they insist that there are no problems on their side and have said an engineer will get back to me.

EDIT: I have tested my afrihost account and the same torrent flies at 750kbps so its not a Telkom line issue

My free IC account worked fine on the 31st of May. I have not tested it since though. Will test it and get back to you.

Oh and BTW, 750kbps :eek:
 
I got given one of those vouchers -32 Gb. Split it between may and june, 17 Gb pm. It's running torrents full speed for me (+/- 100 kbps on a 1 meg line).
 
still going slow, torrents are downloading at 8kB/s and http downloads going at 2kB/s on a 10meg line
 
I'm in Somerset West and same problem with speed. Used for a week last month and was glad to be back onto my Telkom ISP account on Wednesday.

Mentioned at the office that only my Axxess account was rated worse than this one because I still paid R70 for that Axxess voucher. Probably going to give this IC account away for free
 
IC is using the mweb network.....obviously it's slow!

...and still going like a bomb here, Saturday @ 100kBps on 1024 kbps line.
 
Out of interest, lets post where we are using out accounts as it might be a geographic issue.

As mentioned before I'm in Somerset West (CBD) and its awful.
 
Sedgefield, Garden Route. No problems. Torrents coming in at 100 kBps on a 1024 line as mentioned. The voucher's sitting at 30 Gb useage (32 Gb voucher), so I guess I'll get cut off in a couple of hours anyway.

Durbanville : Terrible speeds : 12-15 kbps on 4 meg line
 
its cybersmart bandwidth. Just whois the ip you get with the account if you don't believe me.
 
got a call from incredible connect today, they know about the crappy speed problem and have alerted the engineers. but they dont know when it will be sorted
