Small automatic SUV for city driving

I read with comprehension from the very start.

It looks like an old Chinese design concept not a British inspired classic at all.

It could have been a new and fresh design without being “modern Chinese” but instead it just looks dated.

The Cyberster got it right.
Sure you did.
You should probably get glasses or your prescription checked if you think the MG looks like a 2015 Chery but hey you do you

South Africa hasn't received the second generation of the MG ZS yet, the one being sold here is still refreshed first generation one with old stock from somewhere.

Globally the first generation was a huge success with sales.

SAIC that has MG do have partnerships with VW in China, just out of interest.

Looks more like older Korean design, not much older Chinese design. The new weird spaceship look for Chinese and even the Mahindra are weird.
I'll give you the cabin looks like an older Chinese, but those older Chinese were trying to look more like Korean.

Very true.

Should have maybe said 10 year old Asian look.

They all look the same. I kid, I kid.

Looks like the French have been infected with that design now as well
Though looks like it's more of confused Kwid

Looks exactly like Chinese styling of 10 years ago.

8 year old styling but not solely Chinese styling.

Rear Styling is like clone of the 2017 Kia Stonic. Kia Korea actually collaborated with a Chinese manufacturer to bring out a China-specific version of it, called the Kia KX1.

Both these cars were launched in 2017 and share a striking resemblance.

Front also seems to have some styling inspiration from the 2017 Mazda CX-5 and CX-3.

Definitely not British though, I'll agree with that. Very Asian inspired design.

Man I knew it made me think of some Kia when Lupus mentioned Korean but I just couldn't place it when I was looking.

But yeah the Mazda resemblance is also uncanny.

Definitely a very boring copy and paste job and not inspired by a whole lot of anything.

Then again modern British design is a whole new kettle of fish in and of its own.
