Smart Hub problems

Hi

Firstly apologies I have not searched as I am posting from my phone.

I have a Samsung 32 LED I forget the model number but its the one that comes with the WiFi dongle

The problem:

I would be watching series from my HD using the smart hub and it plays fine but then sometimes I stop a episode halfway thru and then when I want to watch it again it just doesn't want to play at all.

Then if I plug my HD to my laptop and play the episode via VLC it plays. Plug it back into the TV still won't play.

Anyone know a solution to this problem.

I am playing it off a 1Gb HD.

I had a similar problem on my Samsung LCD when going the wireless route. I stream via windows media player. I failed to resolve the problem. I have since plugged my TV into the LAN and that works perfectly.
Looks like the wifi thing just is not stable enough. It is fine for the internet portions on the Smart Hub and streaming Netflix and Hulu+ though.
 
Had the same problem, installed plex on the tv and plex media server on my pc. Solved it.
