So i am being sued.

Yes there is always 3 sides of the story.

Well at least you now have my side of the story as I even received an email from someone who read the opening statement from Wayne in this forum and then proceeded to send me a email complaining about Zest Bikes and how he will tell everyone not to come here.

If Dr Benway (person I got the email from) is out there hopefully now you have more facts to base your opinion on.

I have established alot of information from these threads, and so far alot has come out that was not mentioned before.

I am not going to go backwards and forwards with Wayne on this anymore as I belive there are more than enough facts out in the open to make a logical decision, hopefully this is the last post and I will be seeing Wayne shortly in the store.

ps (the drilling of the thread has got nothing to do with the original problem eg the valves needed cleaning)

I know my post are quite long and i go on and on but to me my word/reputation means alot to me.

I am very glad this thread came about as court would have just been a big waste of time as i am sure it would have come to the same conclusion just costing one of as alot of Lawyers fees.

Hopefully Wayne will come into the store and we can discuss how this whole situation came about and resolve the issue.

I definatly feel upset, but an apology (from both sides of what we did wrong) and a hand shake will hopefully resolve this situation and Wayne can continue getting good service at a cheaper price.

Hello Stratos1. How much does a scooter (125cc) go for? Is it cash only, or can you do monthly installments? Im seriously considering getting a scooter for myself.

ok for all to know i will gladly book my bike in at Zest on saturday morning no problem and finish this matter hopefully once and for all.

KobusDj has it right however let me say i paid for that job as part of the service anyway but the problem arose when they put it back together afterwards. if the bike had started after that i could have ridden out of Zest with the oil leak still there and i would have booked it in when i went on leave.

@WERNER all the other stuff has you mentioned was only tackled on the Tuesday after they found the bike had no compression or whatever which was the result of the spark plug issue.

You guys do realize going on like this on a public forum isn't going to help either of your cases in court?

yes, they are on, cos they deleted pooky's thread about a webbos. Dont know what that is but ya.

I think it should stay open till such time that those with a vested interest consider it's run its course.

I agree Leave this thread till this problem is solved by that I mean Wayne pays the R600 this Saturday or we go to court.

All this information in the thread will be very usefull in court.

I still stand by all that I have said and still believe I have done nothing wrong.

Hi Niccia the 125cc scooter is R8150 that includes License,Registration and a 2 year or 40 000km warranty, We accept cash, credit card or do in house finance (need you ID,payslip & 3 months bank statements)
It is the bigger scooter with a 13" Rim.

And of course I will give you a free 2 year or 40 000km service plan (from this thread) (free services)

Wayne I am not working on Saturday but have told Eugene you will be coming in and he must arrange for the tappets to be set, please note we open from 9am to 1pm although allow us an hour to do the job.

:) Hope everyone enjoys the Holidays!

Whats the logic in the suggestion of going to court Stratos? What is all that going to cost you man?

hmmm full service on my HYOSUNG GA125 is coming up- wonder how much that would be....

Boodles, I never originally wanted to go to court, I had a telephonioc agreement with wayne to discount the R1500 job to R600, I delivered his bike (and picked up my courtesy bike) and said I would phone him the next day to find out how the bike was, but when I got into work I had a telephone message from and attorney (his daughter) saying he would not pay anything, when I tried to phone Wayne he did not answer my calls.

My only option was to defend myself/reputation hence I got my attorney involved.

Of course I do not want to waste my time in court but as I said from the begining its a matter of principal and I do belive I acted in good faith. I would rather waste money on attorneys to prove this fact than have my name and Zest Bikes name be dragged through the mud.

Any ways it seems this has all been resolved now (Wayne agreed to bring the bike in on Saturday and to settle this all at R600)

Lets hope this happens and we can all continue enjoying the upcoming holidays.

It's companies like this I wish I could grab by the neck and stangle some sense into them.

1. Your name was branded in public.
2. The facts are lacking

Now I would have paid R 1000's of rands for this to go to court and get my company's name cleared. If you don't it leaves much to be desired and for all we know the shop might be at fault.

Just my 2c, not sturring :p
