Spectrum Analyzer

Please report them to ICASA as this is illegal, if there is an emergency the cell signals need to be available
I'm aware of the legalities, however I'm not going to get involved :).

All I'm saying is, this is another thing for the OP to consider.

I know you trying your best bro to do whatever you need to for her … but see if she got 5g around her rather move over to that than struggling with 4g signal … we all trying to help … but if we not there … we can’t do much … so be strong my friend

Get on the roof and stuff test and test again … do whatever it takes …

She will reward you big time …
There is no 5G coverage there yet, sadly. I have been all over the roof, now I got a mikrotik mANT 5dB omni antenna as well. Searched all over the property for the best signal, will try again when I visit them again.

Well currently a bigger issue is the disconnects.
Could be your -110 RSRP. We can go around in circles here but we have gotten no closer to the truth so maybe get that spectrum analyzer after all.

Well that was a rare case, I haven't seen that tower be the one that is normally even picked up when scanning. But Friday was a total of 6 hours offline. If I save up a bit for a spectrum analyzer, that is the point where I no longer become a nice and understanding customer. That is when it starts to get to the point where I need to bill them for my time. Also the one tower that is close as well. Is still down, each time it's supposed to be 'up' it doesn't stay that way for more than 2 days, then alarms are going off for the tower again.

I am going to see if I can maybe get a 6.2dB Omni antenna.
https://poynting.tech/antennas/omni-600 <- this looks okay, there is this https://mikrotik.com/product/mant_lte_5o <- which is currently in used

Omni antenna for LTE generally produces problems like this outside, and you are loosing out on MIMO probably

well it will have 2x2 mimo, same as the wAP-R router.

Would you say rather go for an XPOL-2 ? Or something else?

I hate to say it but perhaps the rain service in your area is just not a good choice. It really could be any number of possible issues, and the cost of buying an analyzer is ultimately on you.

It might be better to consider another ISP if the service there is unstable or unusable.

Bro let me get on your friends roof … let me see what I can do for her …

Lol :p, well I am trying to get a XPOL-6, that should sort out the noise floor.
Lol … you could get one that’s second hand …

uhm … @jbroo do you think it’s wise getting one ? Seeing that it can’t PCI lock

I can PCI lock. Just haven't cause I haven't figure out if there is a stable tower yet.

Yes I had an XPOL 6 with a Huawei B311. Could not PCI lock. But it still gives you more preciseness than an omni. You will get better signal pointed at your chosen cell, regardless of whether you can PCI lock or not.

It was also one I would’ve gotten until Rain hooked me up with a B2338 router

Please explain PCI lock for me? Sorry a bit Off topic
