Springboks vs England 2012 - 3 Test tour

You guys don't know what cold is, the weather looked fine to me.

Yes I'm sure it looked perfectly fine to you sitting 1000 km away by your TV. It was pouring for a good few hours before the game and only let up as the players came on and this was on the back of a huge hailstorm the previous night. Some areas looked like there was snow on the ground because there was so much ice. Some people just don't find that enjoyable and that's completely understandable.

And we not only support the All blacks, we support all great rugby teams.
We don't have blinkers on here, we are objective.

So supporting the AB's when they play SA is now 'not having blinkers on and being objective'? Justify all you like, it's still wrong.

I don't know about you but I don't think the Poms or Maoris outnumber South Africans in Cape Town. Remember Durban is far more English than Cape Town and we still managed to have far more South African supporters than English ones unlike when New Zealand is playing against us at Newlands.

We have lots of Maori's here, they can support whoever they want.
We have Poms here too, and they can also support who they want.

At least they go to the ground and support their team, unlike the schmucks fans who often drop the ball.

I thought there was some unspoken Shark-Stormers alliance against the Bulls. Looks like that went out of the window.

Most of the All Black supporters are not Maori's so that's not it. But I still say, let anyone support who they want. At least Newlands is the best supported ground, for what ever reason.

The price of the tickets has nothing to do with people going or not. If you are a rational person you would weigh up having the hassle of going to the game in the freezing cold and rain (Kings Park isn't as well covered as Newlands) or sitting back in your home nice and warm. For me that was probably the coldest I've been in a while and I've just got back here from the ****ty
Cape winter.

Sorry, but if I bought tickets I would go even if it was snowing.

Not sure where you get that from?
As far as I can tell, from actually going to Newlands in person to actually watch games (come rain or snow), about 10% of the people at Newlands openly support the AB's (IE wearing the AB colours).

Doesn't mean they are Moaris, and its way more than 10%.

Wonder what the "fans" will moan about now. :p

Any news on the Barbarians team for Wednesday?

Aplon and Greyling called up for Kirchner and Coenie

Kirchner out of second test and Coenie's faith to be decided tomorrow.

Great to see Aplon in the set up. I'm a big fan!!

Is Coenie injured? Barring injury I can't see any reason for him to be excluded.

I expect the English to make short work of the SA Barbarians side.

Meyer is probably benching Aplon and then put him on in the last 15min

i guess the smucks are divided when it becomes to supporting any team. people in the Cape at least know where their loyalty lies and let everyone know. no fence sitters here

Give me some examples of how we sit on the fence. We are South Africans and we support the Boks, not like you okes.
