It's interesting to note that the Barmy Army encouraged visitors because I definitely heard on the radio that the Barmy Army were
not going to come to the SWC because of costs. Of course he'd probably be talking to people who could afford the SWC. Because as far as I could make out, this visit to SA cost much less, despite going to many more matches and staying for a longer time. Then again, we must remember that these tourists probably stay in luxurious hotels where the threat is extremely low. Also they'd visit the V&A Waterfront, various wine farms that us normal folk only go to once or twice a year. I'll be honest, I feel quite safe at those locations - in fact I'd stay at the wine farms the whole year if I could afford it

But my concern, as Alan has already pointed out is that why can't SA do this all the time? It's all good and well to do when the international spotlight is on you, but what about the hard-working tax-paying citizens?
