What makes you believe the current stats are accurate considering that our former police chief was in bed with a well-known gangster? It's also known that police regularly 'lose' dockets or simply don't register crimes.

I am a Durban boy so it would have to be Florida road. And in Cape Town probably the waterfront. And in Johannesburg, what is that area called, Melville or something?

And I get your point. Your point is to desperately show that things are so much worse now.

Actually, I lived in Brazil for 3 months last year. They were telling me horror stories about the crime in their country every single day.

And yes, they also doubted hosting the World Cup in their country.

Florida road is my favorite when I'm in Durbs. But I walk freely around the south beach areas and restaurants. Here in Joburg, Melville. Pre 1994, I would never dare go to many townships including Soweto. Now I often club in Soweto. I see Jamie Oliver was taken about his experience at Mzoli's in Gugulethu.
