Anyone here purchased Team Viewer Business and up+
Our company is thinking of buying:

1x TeamViewer Premium = R 9159.-
Advantages: Incl. TeamViewer Manager (Customer time billing) and Portable (Run from flash drive), unlimited number of installations, unlimited number of clients and hosts.

Lifetime once-off license, remote access to server, all staff members on site and offsite and clients.

Why not just use winblows built in remote connection tool?

Logmein is also quite good, but i think Teamviewer is better.

Cant use remote desktop unless on local lan, plus staff want to see what is going on, RDP will lock them out.

Teamviewer is actually brilliant and works all the time, even on iPad.

We use a licenced version of Teamviewer. Well worth the money. Just make sure you have the 3 sessions option if you are more than 1 technician.

Yeah, use Teamviewer too, excellent product. Splashtop is a close 2nd. R9k seems quite stiff though.

How many users do you think will be using it Hemps?

4 IT staff
6 Partners (clients)
+-250 staff members with hosts only that require remote support.

Mmmmm, I know the product gets abused with folk installing the software using the personal use option (no charge).

I have 26 machines that I service using Teamviewer but I'm not using it commercially in that I'm not charging or earning an income for remote support. It's basically family and friends.

In your instance the R9k license would be the right way to go.

Teamviewer is an excellent piece of software, that price seems fair for a corporate environment

We use Teamviewer Premium. It's ok. I still prefer Logmein, especially Rescue though. It's bloody fast and a great tool to connect instantly.

Purchased 1 x TV 7 Business. Great piece of software. Personally, I prefer it over all the others.

Just note even though its a lifetime license, it's only for Version 7, once they realease to version 8, you will have to buy an upgrade license.

I also use Teamviewer and looked into buying it but the cost is too high. I use it to connect to my other PC's and for supporting friends & family so I don't make any money of it.. I used to do PC support for paying clients, I left the PC industry some time back but still have ex-clients calling for help so I occasionally use it to support them without any change.

With my business I'm not always at the same place so I use different PC's depending on which branch I am, so I would need to get more than one license.

With the business license, you get a portable version to run from USB from any PC .... so 1x license is all you need ;)

I've been using it for a few months. Works brilliant. Got teamviewer business for the PC and the full version for the iPad. Both are awesome
