Yes these were done on Openserve side.

For DSL the port resets triggers the new sync speed profile to be activated.

For Fibre the line speed provisioning has been done already and there should have been a minute or so of no internet last night when the upgrades took place.

That's strange. I'm with Telkom fibre. Speed is still the same

I must admit, don't really need the 40Mb downstream myself, but super stoked to have 10Mb up.

You will have to contact the company that manages your line to do that for you.

The profiles have been loaded and changed on Openserve but it required a port reset for the new sync speeds to kick in.

Obviously the speed upgrade means more data being consumed, so if yo have a capped account it will deplete faster and uncapped, you will reach your threshold faster.

Openserve/Telkom done away with FUP/thresholds anyway
