League of legends worked flawelessly this weekend.... Was epic. Better than before the move cause the latency was sitting at a stable low of 206ms....... That is impressive considering the servers are located in germany I think..... Nice not even a small bit of lag.... :D

I also noticed the latency is somewhat the best i have seen. I started playing the Crysis 3 Beta which is the first game i played in a long time online, i was getting more kills than deaths which is a first for me :p. I hope we are in for more surprises (good ones) in the coming 3 weeks :)

When I go to the telkom internet usage tracker my data used amount is shown in red, is this normal? I've only downloaded 50GB.

COD Servers (MW3 and BLOPS 2) still connecting without any problems.

Ranger, what are the status of telkoms upgrading? I am concerned that our current experience might not be permanent.

Ranger, I think we all need to give you a round of applause. You've handled things well over here and finally having some connection with a human being who knows how much we get frustrated from a lack of communication is a god-send, honestly. Dealing with large, monopolising companies is hard enough when they're not listening to their customers.

My line is now functioning perfectly. Youtube, Torrents, FTP and HTTP are all back to where they were before. Even the Android market is back to normal. And to top it all off, I have lower pings, more stable download speeds and a generally better internet experience. On behalf of Telkom, I'd like you to accept this gift of internets. Here's to hoping you'll continue to help shape Telkom into the ISP we've come to love for its stability.

We think we are finished. We are still investigating some issues. There will most likely be a final communication today on the status.

Unfortunately, there were some unexpected problems while we were doing some proactive work last week (like a fibre that was cut by a municipal contractor on Friday night while we were trying to re-balance traffic onto the link on that fibre).

Totally agree. Without his constant updates and assistance this would have been really frustrating....

And we learned a couple of interesting things about how the network operates. Having this relayed to us makes it much easier to accept and understand why things break when they do.

YouTube barely streaming 480p
HTTP downloads crawl
iOS store not loading at all
Battle log timing out often
Yet on other isp's all the above work like a charm.

I`m in Strand, Helderberg area. Since yesterday morning I had a good connection. Today from about 13:30 starting to go bad. I will check again maybe it is a glitch.
