Definitely not the case in Cape Town.

It's more a representation of people who actually know when their internet isn't performing and contact a viable source for answers, rather than the blatantly ignorant call centre and sit on hold for an hour, rendering their line uncallable to anyone while you wait... Particularly bad for home businesses. Sure you can't hire engineers to be your call centre workers, but I'm sure there are people more than willing to actually work hard for the job...Well if MyBB is a representation of 'everyone'.
Judging by the decrease in complaints I'd say its working better for most people.
I just got a tweet from the social network team saying that the international issue has been resolved.
Can anybody confirm?
Cool story bro.
Happy for 'ya !
Glad it's fixed your side. Not sure how you conclude it's working better for most. You been reading the same thread since 5 Jan when they swtiched off the lights ?
Glad NNTP is back to full 10Mbps line speed, but why should other protocols be nearly non-existant ?
When I joined in July this was an excellent product.
I had positive things to say.
Since late last year it has gone from bad to worse.
And all the while my Afrihost backup account has given 110% performance.
Something is not right.
FTS.
You only have to peruse the last few pages of this thread to realise thats not the case.
Its either that or people got tired of complaining.

You hit the nail on the head. I had two trial accounts and both gave 100% service. Telkom are now sending sms that the problem is fixed. Does the above speedtest indicate a service you would be willing to pay for? Three weeks and they cannot fix jack s hit.
And sadly anything they say has to be seen to be believed.
