Telkom Internet is a division of Telkom, therefore it is controlled by Telkom. If Telkom says they can't do something, they can't do it. You pay your bills to the same company for both phone and internet.

The ping and download speed fixed itself at about 2am this morning, now its back to the same old 600ping on Teamspeak + Dota 2 and downloads running at 11kbps. Telkom, what the hell is going on..
 
I've been using my Afrihost account since the TI service levels dropped off a cliff a week ago.

Thought I might see the status now on Sunday to ascertain improvements ... seems lol'worthy.

LOL TI. Seems like more than just link failure. Your network is bust.

Do we get a refund for this non existent product, because the above doesn't remotely qualify as "best effort".

Try your speed test to JHB or DBN...

Looks like CT is the problem. Point your DNS to JHB or DBN.

Can you give us the DBN & JHB dns addresses or point me in the direction to obtain them :).

Speeds/pings are poked. Cant play games etc. Does MyBB still have an active Telkom forumite who can give us ETA's? At this rate, I am going to cancel with them and go back to MWeb.
 
Lol you know things are really bad when people are threatening going back to Mweb.
 
This morning pings were fine and now they are porked again. It definally looks like a load issue on Telkoms parts. I guss someone at telkom is going to have to purchase more bandwidth or start saying good buy to all the people they milked off Mweb.

Yeah, it's starting to look like a lack of capacity more and more.
