Pft...do that same thing after 5....will be back to 500+

8-5 my NNTP downloads are flying....
And it's not congestion....my local speedtest i get 3.5 Mb....Int is about 300Kb/s....
I'm thinking they don't have any international backup....or they do but not enough...

Well back to 800+ ping.

I am being told that my dispute will not be successful as the sluggish speeds != no service. I am waiting for to speak to a manager to confirm, as I will cancel today if this is their stance, as I cannot wait any longer for these clowns.

Spoke to Telkom and they say they are not giving any responses yet as it is still on Hold.

I see on Twitter they keep requesting details like this, but wtf is the point if just about everyone is having the same problem?

No responses on MyBB from Telkom reps nor can any of the imbeciles at 10210 assist you.. @TelkomZA is the last hope we have..

Happens when you desperate

Cancellation confirmed. A big up yours Telkom. Enjoy the latency. I never have to look at this thread again. thank god.

What dept did you call? New services?
(Just worried that with the usual level of call centre incompetence they're going to cancel my TI account as well as my whole damn ADSL line)

That way, they string all those people along letting them think the problem is on their side, knowing full well the trouble is on Telkom's side.

So you can pay for another month. I've learnt from past experience that when an ISP has issues for more than a week, I take it as a sign to move on, as they are not doing their job properly, and who wants to deal with that?

And here I was thinking this was my problem. Speedtest says 3.5Mbps on a 4Mbps line even internationally but youtube is unwatchable among other things. I swear they have just whitelisted speedtest.net and throttled the rest of the internet.

I signed up for a year to get the 25% discount. I'm prepared to pay the penalty to move.

@ranger you say this - gaming is fine / netflix is fine.. But yet both of them suck ass. I can't even play bf4 on ps4.

I said gaming should have improved somewhat as of Friday afternoon. I didn't ever say Neflix was fine for everyone.

As of early this morning, BF4 should be a bit better. We were waiting for a fix from a vendor for that (specifically BF4, but may address some other games too, possibly Path of Exile, Diablo 3, possibly some general PSN problems), which was deployed early this morning.
