Telkom Internet Uncapped User Feedback.

And now my line is not authenticating anymore. Tried my Afrihost account too. Telkom is f@cked.
 
And then we were back. Flatlining at 4.1mbps, pages loading fast and YouTube Streaming 360p without buffering.
 
How's everyone's TI connections this evening? My daytime test showed slow international again, but peak evening hours showed 8.5mbps on my 10mbps uncapped account? Haven't tested Netflix streaming though.

EDIT: Tested Netflix just now - spiking badly.

Wish ranger could give us an update on what the ETA is for a final fix - or whether one is actually forthcoming :/

Telkom flying my side. :D

Downloading a 13.5GB file off Steam which I started at midnight. Already 65% complete. 190kbps+ solidly on my 2mbps line.
 
I'm getting so gatvol with Telkom. Had problems last week with line speed and this got fixed yesterday morning. Last night the same **** started again. Line speed test shows I am running at .8mbps on a 4meg line.
 
I am looking for an ISP. My Adsl line is going to be installed soon. It seems like Telkom is the easiest way to go.

Please can I have some advise.

Stay away from them until the capacity issues have been resolved.

I don't think youre going to get any favourable reviews of TelkomInternet right now, with the current chaos. But to be fair, before this started they were fantastic. If they pull their s*#@ together and sort things out, they probably will be again.
