Can't even team view my damn laptop from work to see how the speed is going... This is utter crap. @Telkomza, when are you going to address all of us to what the real problem is and roughly when it will be sorted? I swear I'm going to cancel this crap! I don't see the point of even paying you guy's for a service that is non-existant. Kom nou mense!

Im perfectly fine also hey...

Done about 210 Gigs so far, on a 4meg line, and that's double what i normally do in a month, been building up my series abit, and downloading a **** load of 3D movies.
 
Thankfully I don't have any issues either...my line runs just fine 0.89mbps average before the upgrades and now 1,75mbps average for the past month,pings still around 25-35ms to JHB servers and uploads 0.35mbps.

I'm actually thinking of changing my other account which is the go big promo with 10gb on telkom mobile to an uncapped adsl line instead since 10gb is peanuts nowadays.
 
While I do have issues starting around 18:00, the rest of the time I can get done that which I want to. here's hoping the Feb IPC rollout will give me a 24 x 7 good response.

Having said that, I've had far worse performance when using other ISP's.

Well, he says he checked my latest records and it showed stable, this was confirmed with the connectivity and speeds I was getting since Tues eve.
He also said that there is congestion on the DSLAM that im on, and that he has logged a call for it, also provided me with a ref number.

I'm happy with the explanation and have no reason to doubt it. Time will be the only measure ;)

Shvak, the service i'm getting (since Tues eve) seems fine, what I meant was, I will monitor it over the next few weeks to decide whether its working ok. So far so good.

Electric, Grouter and 69joka, do I get a Tee-shirt? :D

Well my telkom line was disconnected last night so I could not test and surprisingly my 8ta data card worked better then my TI uncapped has over the past few weeks. But on the bright side I now have access to VDSL :D
 
For those on this forum still having issues... Remember this. It's not a query until it's a query.

What is the name of you exchange? My reason for asking is that I will be on TI on Saturday the 4 Mbps uncapped package. My exhange here in PE is Charlo which is in the process of upgrading to Fibre. My wife took a cal from a Telkom guy 2 days ago advising that there may be some interruptions in Service. When completed it should be a lot better than my current 2 Mbps uncapped Mweb package. At least I hope so.
 
Just got a call by customer relations and customer service

They offered me a 12month deal and within the deal they cut my fees (dsl line rental and 4meg uncapped) by 25% bringing total 4meg price + line to about R550pm all incl

I declined and said I am not a fan of contracts as I am a student and the very notion of me having dependable income is absurd for me at the moment.

So 28th Feb please come!!

Im not in PE hey bud, im in JHB, the west, my Exchange is Wilropark.
 
My radio is streaming for the second time this year on my expensive 10MB account. Maybe its all the guys leaving.
