This is really frustrating. Can't stream anything again...

Ranger said that Sunday evening is their peak load and if the service is adequate it generally won't get any worse. Well, the service is so pathetic at present that I'd be surprised if it could get any worse. Netflix app won't even open on the Apple TV.

Now just let this issue persist for another 30 days and you will be at our level of frustration :p.

wait for ranger to ask your traceroute and all the additional info that they want then 30 days later they still wouldn't have figured it out

Don't fret, it looks like TI are playing with the QoS again. As you say browsing is terrible, local & int, but torrents & streaming (youtube & iPlayer) are perfect.

Pretty sure they'll sort it by start of business tomorrow and upset the gamers & Netflix users again :p

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! @least some1 is positive about this situation.............

Now they finally call me to cancel, and go on about the bs policy of 30-days notice. Yet, they've been ignoring me since the beginning of January.

You do not get any lower than these scum. Trying to hold me hostage for another month for a service they can't provide. If they do not cancel on Monday, I will start phoning the consumer commission, and at the end of the month, go to small claims court.

I tried getting my TI account cancelled, after about three hours of phone calls an plenty of frustration on Friday I got no where. What numbers can I call to take this further? It is absolute bull**** that I have to keep paying for this **** service and have to wait for 20 seconds for even these myBB pages to load, gaming is impossible and has been for a month now. I would just stop paying if they weren't so quick to blacklist you...

Even local is f@cked at present...

Here is a trace route for good measure before I here it is exchange congestion.

Have you tried using the default DNS? Do that then reboot your router. It's worth a try.

Set to SD on Apple TV and this is what I get. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1391359874.126179.jpg

Now showing 4 hours 2 minutes.

Netflix was working perfectly last night, mostly 720p, till 1pm this afternoon (Sunday) , when everything when down the hill again!!! Now I can't even connect to Netflix!!! Also heard from a Telkom technician that they are busy with major upgrades and that this problem will be resolved by the 18th February 2014, let's hope so!!!!

I've also been having DNS issues.
It works for a while and stops completely. Just says trying to resolve host.
I give up!

Internet is substantially worse than yesterday. Twitch.tv stream lagging -- it goes from ~260KiB/s to 40KiB/s then stutters. Same thing happens for YouTube videos occasionally. Just stops buffering.

It's much better than 3 days ago though.

Sigh I canceled my telkom adsl account but the account is still active..... Sigh

Anyways moved to @lantic fat pipe unshaped capped with uncapped bolt on. Unshaped all the way baby for only R248.
