Is nobody bothered by the fact that this box output only at 60p, i.e. no dynamic refresh rate switching? This results in all 25p, 24p, 50p content having judder, more noticeable in panning scenes.
Some people are more prone to being distracted by it than others, me being one of them.
Apparently later high end panels can interpret and correct this, but older panels not.
For example kodi plays all videos perfectly on my older plasma and lcd tvs, since it selects the correct output to tv based on the source framerate.
The lit box does not.
I'll test later tonight when going to bed and see if it is off when I wake up tomorrow.I have disabled sleep, however it seems that the box still seems to go to sleep, I still have to press the power button. Any way around this?

Went to bed around 10, left LIT on with sleep disabled. Was still on this morning. Seems to be working as it should.I'll test later tonight when going to bed and see if it is off when I wake up tomorrow.
Any reason you don't want it to sleep?Went to bed around 10, left LIT on with sleep disabled. Was still on this morning. Seems to be working as it should.
Mine sleepsAny reason you don't want it to sleep?

AHHHH lol ok ya mine sleeps as wellMine sleeps
Some dude here said even though sleep is disabled, it still sleeps. I merely tested it for them. Disabling sleep seems to do exactly that, make the device not sleep.

Oh yeah I hear you. Like my folks. I get too afraid to share tech ideas with them because the support costs in time can be CRAZY!!I wanted it to not sleep. The wife is not the best technology wise and I would prefer it to not sleep for her.
I did notice it only sleeps if you leave an app running and just switch off the tv, I will teach her to hit the home button ( we use a different remote) before turning off the TV.

Ah, mine was on home which is probably why it didn't sleep then.
Which app was running?
Some advice would be appreciated, please.
My lit box updated successfully to Oreo about 2 months ago. I don't use it very often, but the last few weeks it refused to stream dstv Now. Fault-finding included switching between WiFi and lan, resetting the dstv app, restarting the lit, etc. Eventually I pulled the power-plug, waited 10 seconds and rebooted it. I was pleasantly surprised that dstv Now was working fine after the power cycle.
Unfortunately, this became routine. After a day or so of lit box sleeping, Dstv Now would only stream after a power cycle. On further investigation, I saw that ShowMax and YouTube would also not work before the power plug was pulled. I also found that I could not even cast before the power cycle.
This morning I factory reset the lit box. It started up fine and updated all the default apps.
However, now I cannot get dstv Now to log in. It gives me the code that must be entered via the internet.
I log in to dstv.now/tv on my pc and enter the code. The PC receives a message to indicate that the log-on was successful, but the dstv app on the lit box does not receive any acknowledgement.
Does anyone have advice regarding getting the dstv now app logged in? There have been a number of posts where similar login issued with dstv were mentioned, but no-one came back with a miracle solution.
Thanks. I'll try that.As all the apps had issues, try give the LIT a static IP outside your DHCP range. Try setting on router first. If this doesn't help, then set the static IP directly on the LIT as well as router.
My colleague bought a B10 which came with BT remote on weekend. I asked him to test new remote and he says it worked even when blocking direct line of site between remote and LIT.Did you confirm if the remote works completely on BT?
It does work, and doesn't need to have line of sightMy colleague bought a B10 which came with BT remote on weekend. I asked him to test new remote and he says it worked even when blocking direct line of site between remote and LIT.
