How is it powered?
Directly from LIT. Its a 2.5" external.
Lit recognizes my drive when plugged in,but wont show up then
Unfotunaly I am in East London is Telkom aware of this are they sending boxs back.Contact @Nology. I took mine to him and he fixed in 10 minutes.
Not sure to be honest. I tested with Archos (media player) in Play Store. I prefer this to play local/network media than Kodi.
Can you not see it in ES? Possibly its pulling too much power from the USB port. Is it the only device plugged in?
What is your drive formatted as (FAT32, NTFS, exFat)?
Ok, last guess, what size is it? Maybe there's a limit on size?l.Formatted as NTFS. Only device plugged in yes, and no not showing up in ES. I’m basically running it via my router now over the network

Ok, I can't open drive with ES either. Archos Video Player can though, maybe they added something for NTFS support. As I said, I find Archos better and simpler than Kodi for local and network media.Possibly yes. 1Tb 2.5 inch

Yeah, under settings there is a rescan option that scans internal, SD cards and USB. You can also add network locations and scan them.Is there a way to scrape movie info, posters, artwork etc for content stored on hard drive?

Just do not get impatient, and brick it, if you do, you will have a lot longer wait for NetFlix.
Loadshedding, is cause of my annoyance at present. Eskom making their stupidity and greed my problem.
