I think the lcokdown has delayed a bit - but yes, all Android 8.0 will be updated to Android 9.0.

The Takealot and Makro units are already Android 9.0

Neither Takealot nor Makro sell the LIT TV box, or I miss something.

How do you know they will be upgraded soon?
We know they are due an upgrade but that is a different matter all together.

Apple TV, is good solid hardware.

Also, what you can install is tightly controlled by Apple.

No modding or side loaded apps. But if all you watch is DSTV, ShowMax, NetFlix, Disney etc. You will be fine.

Yeh, I'll see what happens. Maybe reset the litbox again or wait on @Nology to provide the update, and then see if that improves things..

Shield gets hardware updates yearly. My lit box is from 3 years ago so hardware is old now .
