Telkom LTE crashed nationally?

Currently still no wifi network and telkom mobile data in Modimolle. Unbelievable that no communication is forthcoming

It seems Telkom LTE crashed across the country. Just heard from people iin different towns. I have been down since 18:45. How many are affected here?
Now 36 hours without wifi and very limited mobile data in Nylstroom! Telkom stil mum!

The situation has worsened. Wifi comes on for a while (minutes) then dissapears. This causes many aborted downloads with wasted data usage. Will Telkom, as Afrihost did a few weeks ago, compensate its customers for wasted dated?

I've received a "massive" amount of data for Friday downtime.

Telkom has reloaded 25MB. It is valid until 8 December 2018. We apologies that you did not have access to use your data on Friday.

25MB?

LTE is down again for me. Started at exactly 1am when I was disconnected and then it came back a minute later but only with 3G and bad latency.

If I select 4G on my router settings there's no network.

Same happened here in Slummies. When I woke up, phone was saying wifi was throughput was lost during the night.

Does anyone knows why Telkom mobile is stealing data, I am supposed to receive 120GB of data every month, but for the pass 2 months i only received 80GB, i was told that I downloaded 40GB within a span of 10 minutes. New data was received on the 1st of every month and I checked my data usage 00h10 and i saw 35GB used that's 10 minutes into the new month.

Doesn't sound right.

35GB in 10 mins is roughly 58.3MB in a second which would imply a near 500Mbps line (Not yet happening on mobile networks).

If it continues insist on a different SIM with a different number with the same contractual agreement.

What are the chances it's related to the issue with their adsl metering as in the other thread?
