Telkom Speed upgrades

From ADSL Checker for my line.

ADSL Availability
Service Available
Maximum speed available in your area 4 Mbps
Your Current Service speed 10 Mbps
To enjoy a faster surfing experience you can upgrade your connection.

Just been told because I am on a Mini DSLam, 4meg, (which I am currently on & which runs smoothly) is the best I will get??

After trying unsuccessfully with 10210

Thanks to TelkomSA my line been upgraded from 2 to 4mb

Tried the twitter route yesterday got a tweet back from TelkomZA this morning "Hi there, we have reported fault 216CRK201113 to be moved if possible to accommodate 10Meg. ^RI"

TelkomZA on Twitter put me on the 4Mbps profile :D

I tried the twitter method 2 TIMES :(TelkomZa's ignoring me for some reasons.

What'd you tweet them, called this morning they said just to wait it out :(

I just tweeted that my line is syncing at 2Mbps while the website says 4Mbps. He then just requested that I DM him my telephone number.

He is quite flooded by messages, so give him time to reply. Probably not going to reply for the rest of the day though - past 5pm

Woot! :D My line has been upgraded to 4Mbps!

Sadly, my account is still 2Mbps :( I speedtested my line and the result was not impressive :( No improvements. It STILL maxed out at 220KB/s instead of 250Kb/s.

Anyone else on the 4meg line not yet upgraded to 10meg?

Tried calling Telkom and got the standard, "We're not finished with the upgrades yet - check again next week" answer...

Hi All

Being upgraded to 4meg line.
Did a speed test still shows only 1meg. I do have only a 1meg account.
Should speed test still give you full throttle only for the test?
